Executive Director - Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation

Colt Long is the Executive Director of the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation. He has been fundraising for over two decades, raising funds for various organizations including: The Salvation Army, The University of Alberta, & Banff Centre. He received his CFRE (Certified FundRaising Executive) designation in 2010. He has been at the Healthcare Foundation for 6 months, and is new to the Comox Valley. He loves it here, and doesn’t miss Alberta winters. A quick fun fact about Colt is that although he has already enjoyed volunteering here in the Valley, his 8-year old Norwegian Forest Cat, Winston, who, while on a leash, roams the halls and rooms in the Mountainview Suites at the Views of St. Joseph’s, and will be soon doing the same at Glacier View Lodge, is the star in the family, providing “cat” therapy to the elderly, and wherever his cat mojo is required
